O diário britânico refere que a actriz de 39 anos e o músico de 30 chegaram mesmo a reservar uma hora num restaurante para poderem jantar de forma mais discreta. Aniston está divorciada de Brad Pitt desde de 2005 e recentemente foi avançada uma possível relação com o modelo britânico Paul Sculfor.
Já pela lista amorosa de Mayer passaram atrizes como Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Love Hewitt e Jessica Simpson.

A source said: “He’s held her hand on at least two very intimate dinners.” Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, and Mayer also cuddled on a private beach. They then arranged for a restaurant to open early so they could eat in private. Aniston, in Miami to film movie Marley & Me, was recently linked to Brit model Paul Sculfor. Mayer has dated actresses Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson.
