The former Friends actress - who recently celebrated her 40th birthday - reportedly wants the freedom to meet new guys in a bid to find her "Mr Right". "When Jen and John were apart she decided to get back on the dating scene," a source tells British magazine Look. "She's told John she has already been on a few low-key dates. "John was stunned when Jen told him she wants more freedom. "John is the one with the bad reputation and he's know as 'Mayer the Player'. "He's always liked his freedom but this relationship is different. Jen's always been so tearful in the past when they've broken up but this time she really seems to know her own mind. "He's going along with this new plan in the hope she will have a change of heart and start dating him exclusively again." The source continues, "The dates Jen has been on are nothing more than fun nights out. But they've made her realize she wants to keep meeting new guys. "Now that she's 40, Jen intends to make sure she doesn't miss out on any opportunities to meet Mr Right. "For now, her marriage plans with John are on hold. She thinks he's fun to be around but she's keeping her options open."
